The primary route to Khorfakkan is via the S142 highway, commonly referred to as Khorfakkan Road, accessible directly from Emirates Road (E611).
Travelers from Dubai or Abu Dhabi should continue along E611 toward Sharjah and take the exit for S142 shortly after passing Tilal City. For those departing from Sharjah city, the route leads toward Sharjah International Airport, with an exit for S142 visible immediately after crossing the airport.
This road winds through the mountains, leading directly to Khorfakkan and the east coast of Sharjah.
