To qualify for the Smart Home Security System, applicants must be residents of Dubai, possess a valid Emirates ID, and have an active email address. The service is accessible to both villa owners and tenants, ensuring a wide range of residents can benefit from enhanced security measures.

Registration Process
To enroll in the Smart Home Security System, residents must visit the official Dubai Police Home Security website. The registration process involves the following steps:
- Visit homesecurity.dubaipolice.gov.ae and log in using your UAE PASS.
- Click ‘Register’ to create an account. Enter your mobile number, verification code, full name, email address, Emirates ID, and create a password. A scanned version of your Emirates ID (both sides) will also need to be uploaded.
- Provide your address or Makani number.
- Add a secondary contact, such as a spouse.
- Select your package. A detailed breakdown of costs will be displayed. After agreeing to the terms and conditions, complete the payment online using a debit or credit card.
Upon confirmation of payment, residents will receive notification of their installation date and time.
