Step 1: Eye Test

The initial requirement is to complete an eye test. In Dubai, this can be done at any optical shop licensed by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). Look for a sticker indicating RTA approval. The cost of the eye test typically ranges from AED 140 to AED 180.

Step 2: Open a Traffic File
