Aston Martin has announced that Jak Crawford will participate in the first Free Practice session of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, along with the subsequent Young Driver Test at the Yas Marina Circuit. This marks Crawford’s second outing in Formula 1 during the 2025 season, following his earlier experience at the Mexico City Grand Prix.
Crawford Expresses Enthusiasm for F1 Return
Crawford expressed his eagerness to return to the cockpit of an F1 car, reflecting on his prior experience in Mexico. “I’m thrilled to get back behind the wheel of the AMR25 for the second time this season,” he stated. He emphasized the value of his extensive simulator training at Aston Martin’s technology campus, stating, “Being able to translate that work onto the track is incredibly rewarding.”
The young American driver recognizes the significance of his practice outings as critical learning opportunities. “Mexico was a huge learning experience for me, and I’m looking forward to continuing that development in both the FP1 session and the Young Driver Test,” he added.
