Everton Aims for Strong Start in Women’s Super League Amid New Managerial Shift

As the new season of the Women’s Super League (WSL) approaches, Everton is looking to build on last year’s respectable eighth-place finish under the guidance of new manager Scott Phelan. The club’s recent managerial change has sparked optimism, although expectations remain tempered given the financial constraints compared to top-tier teams.

Everton’s financial situation is stark, with their wage bill reported to be five times smaller than that of Chelsea, highlighting the challenges they face in competing at the highest level.
