LMD has officially launched the Christian A. Rockefeller Business Tower on Sheikh Zayed Road, an 87-storey Grade A office development projected to become Dubai’s tallest commercial tower upon completion. The construction is slated for completion in the second quarter of 2031, according to reports from Construction Business News Middle East.
The height of the tower has been a point of contention, with LMD claiming it will reach 400 meters, while its official website lists it at 372 meters. This discrepancy highlights that the “tallest commercial tower” designation is LMD’s forecast rather than an independently verified fact.
The Project Overview
Developed in partnership with Christian A. Rockefeller, this project marks the global real estate debut of the Rockefeller brand. Christian A. Rockefeller is noted as a sixth-generation member of the Rockefeller family, with the brand represented by Iconique Living Group and Devmark serving as the exclusive sales and marketing partner.
LMD aims to redefine office space through a concept termed the “hotelification” of work environments. This approach integrates office functionality with the design and wellness amenities typically found in luxury hotels, leveraging LMD’s extensive experience in hospitality-led developments.
Office Spaces and Amenities
The tower will feature four distinct office collections—Prime, Elite, Executive, and Presidential—alongside five dedicated amenity floors. These amenities include a spa, fitness hub, infinity pool, and padel court, as well as various dining options. Notably, two of the amenity floors are dedicated to wellness activities.
At the pinnacle of the tower, Level 87 will host a sky business center that includes lounges, podcast rooms, a ballroom, and an observatory pool with panoramic views of the city. This space is designed to accommodate a range of activities, from morning workouts to evening corporate events.
The Prime office collection starts at approximately 1,077 square feet, while the Presidential collection occupies full floors on Levels 71 to 80. The building will also feature 23 elevators and over 1,100 parking spaces, with interior designs crafted by Bahrain-based International Design Associates.
Strategic Location
Strategically situated between the Business Bay and Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall metro stations, the tower is approximately five minutes from the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall by road, and about 20 minutes from Dubai International Airport. This prime location enhances its appeal for businesses seeking accessibility and prestige.
Statements from Leadership
Hamad Al Abbar, Managing Partner of LMD UAE, emphasized the significance of this tower as a pivotal expansion of LMD’s portfolio. Christian A. Rockefeller remarked, “A global debut is not about visibility; it is about readiness,” highlighting the brand’s commitment to quality and preparedness in its market entry.
As the project progresses, it stands as a testament to the evolving landscape of commercial real estate in Dubai, blending luxury with functionality in a rapidly developing urban environment. For more information on this development, visit Dubai Week.
