Announced by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, this initiative enables travelers to handle all check-in formalities via their mobile devices prior to arrival. Once fully operational throughout the city, guests will enjoy greatly reduced wait times by skipping in-person check-in altogether, ensuring a smooth and efficient arrival process.

Developed by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, the system is facilitated through various independent technology providers. It allows guests to upload their identification documents and biometric data only once. This information will be securely stored and remain valid until the respective ID document expires. For subsequent stays, guests will need only a simple authentication, such as facial recognition, to access their accommodations without the need for repetitive checks.
