The legendary British rock icon, Billy Idol, is all set to headline a pre-game concert in Las Vegas, just outside Allegiant Stadium, on February 11. This year, Idol’s motorcycle will remain parked in his garage, as he takes to the stage to electrify the audience before the NFL’s two top teams face off.
Idol, known for his electrifying performances and timeless hits, is expected to perform some of his biggest chartbusters including “Dancing with Myself,” “Mony Mony,” and “Rebel Yell” during a 35-minute set on two different stages at On Location’s Club 67 and Touchdown Club. The anticipation is high, with nearly 9,000 guests expected to attend.
This isn’t Idol’s first rodeo with the Super Bowl. The singer previously rocked out with Miley Cyrus three years ago outside Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. When asked about his Super Bowl halftime aspirations, Idol stated, “That would be incredible… It would be amazing if it involved some other artists or a combination of people. That would be great. It would be one of the craziest things in the world to play.”
In addition to his Super Bowl performance, Idol is also looking forward to releasing his first studio album in a decade. The new album is set to release in October this year, marking another milestone in Idol’s illustrious career.
As Idol prepares to take the stage, fans around the world eagerly await his performance. With his unique blend of energy and charisma, Idol is sure to deliver a memorable pre-Super Bowl show.
