Rock’s biggest will-they-won’t-they finally has an answer: Oasis has officially announced a 14-date reunion tour across the UK and Ireland in 2025. This tour marks the first time in 16 years that the iconic band, led by brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, will share the stage after their infamous split in 2009.
2025 UK and Ireland Tour Dates Revealed- Oasis

The much-anticipated reunion will see Oasis perform in stadiums across Cardiff, London, Manchester, Edinburgh, and Dublin. The tour dates are set for July and August, with the following schedule:
- 4, 5 July: Principality Stadium, Cardiff
- 11, 12, 19, 20 July: Heaton Park, Manchester
- 25, 26 July: Wembley Stadium, London
- 2, 3 August: Wembley Stadium, London
- 8, 9 August: Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh
- 16, 17 August: Croke Park, Dublin
Tickets for these shows will go on sale at 9 AM on 31 August, with prices to be revealed on the day.
No Glastonbury Headline, But Major Stadium Shows Confirmed

Despite rumors that Oasis would headline Glastonbury and play 10 dates each at Wembley and the Etihad Stadium, the band has opted for a more limited, but no less monumental, tour. The concerts will take place in iconic venues across the UK and Ireland, marking their return to the stage after more than a decade.
A press release described the dates as the “domestic leg” of the tour and hinted at plans to take the reunion beyond Europe later in 2025.
Fans React to Reunion Teasers on Social Media

The Gallagher brothers had been teasing the news on social media in recent days, fueling excitement among fans. A clip featuring the date “27.08.24” in the Oasis logo font was shared on Liam and Noel’s respective social media accounts, as well as the official Oasis accounts.
The clip was also shown at the end of Liam’s headline set at Reading Festival last weekend, where he dedicated the 1994 B-side “Half the World Away” to Noel and performed “Cigarettes & Alcohol” for those who claim to hate Oasis. Fans at Blossoms’ concert in Wythenshawe Park in Manchester were also treated to the teaser.
Setlist and Band Lineup: What to Expect

The Oasis lineup for the 2025 reunion has yet to be confirmed, and the band has no plans to record new music. However, fans can expect a setlist packed with their biggest hits. Unlike Liam’s ongoing 30th-anniversary tour for Definitely Maybe, the 2025 reunion shows will not focus solely on that album.
With Noel recently praising Liam’s vocal abilities, stating, “When I would sing a song, it would sound good. When he sung it, it sounded great,” the chemistry between the brothers on stage is expected to reignite the magic that made Oasis a global phenomenon.
Gallagher Brothers Reflect on Past Feuds
The Gallagher brothers’ relationship has been famously tumultuous, leading to Oasis’ split in 2009 when Noel walked out before a show at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris. Since then, the brothers have engaged in public spats and denied the possibility of a reunion.
However, in recent years, relations seem to have softened. In 2017, Liam sent Christmas wishes to Noel and expressed anticipation about seeing him. Recently, Noel acknowledged Liam’s unique vocal talent in a video marking the 30th anniversary of Definitely Maybe, signaling a possible thawing of their feud.
Oasis Continues to Influence New Generations
Despite their long hiatus, Oasis remains a cultural force. The band boasts 21.6 million monthly listeners on Spotify and has garnered a large Gen Z following. Earlier this year, pop star Dua Lipa used the band’s iconic font in the marketing for her Britpop-inspired album Radical Optimism, a testament to Oasis’ enduring legacy.
Speculations Behind the Reunion: Financial Motivations?
Some have speculated that Noel Gallagher’s recent divorce from his second wife, Sara MacDonald, might have influenced the timing of the reunion. The settlement, reportedly costing around £20 million, could have provided a financial incentive for a lucrative reunion tour.
Regardless of the reasons behind it, the Oasis reunion promises to be one of the most talked-about events in rock history, with fans old and new eager to witness the return of one of the greatest bands of all time.
