MrBeast’s Pre-Planned Videos
MrBeast, the world’s biggest YouTuber, has revealed that he has already created pre-planned content to be shared on his channel in the event of his untimely death. During a recent appearance on the Impaulsive podcast with KSI and Logan Paul, MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, disclosed that he has filmed several videos in preparation for such a scenario.
Inspired by Nikocado Avocado’s Prank
The discussion was sparked when KSI mentioned the viral stunt by fellow YouTuber Nicholas Perry, better known as Nikocado Avocado. Perry had released pre-recorded videos while secretly losing a significant amount of weight over two years. In response, MrBeast admitted that he had already prepared a similar strategy. He stated, “I did do that for when I die,” and confirmed that he has about 15 videos ready for posthumous release.
The Secret to Accessing the Videos
Donaldson explained that certain trusted individuals in his company know where to find these videos on his old computer. Although he joked that the videos might not be of the same quality as his current content, describing them as “pretty garbage,” he reassured fans that they are prepped for release. One video, for example, features him sitting at a table opening old fan mail.
Maintaining the Illusion After His Death
In the pre-planned videos, MrBeast humorously addresses his viewers, saying, “I’m probably in a coffin right now just chilling, don’t feel bad for me, I’m dead.” The strategy for the posthumous content is to release a final video titled “My Last Video”, followed by new videos uploaded monthly, creating the illusion that he is still alive.
Controversies Surrounding MrBeast’s Beast Games
While MrBeast is known for his larger-than-life YouTube stunts, he is currently embroiled in controversies surrounding his new Amazon Prime game show, Beast Games. The show’s premiere date has yet to be confirmed, but in September, five unnamed individuals filed a lawsuit against MrBeast, alleging mistreatment during the show’s production.
Lawsuit Allegations
The lawsuit claims that contestants were subjected to chronic mistreatment, including failure to provide minimum wage and overtime, prevent sexual harassment, and ensure adequate meal and rest breaks. Contestants also allege they were exposed to unsafe conditions during the filming of the show, which reportedly has a $100 million budget. The suit is ongoing, and MrBeast has not yet publicly commented on the allegations.
