Bravo Orders Las Vegas Spinoff of ‘Vanderpump Rules’ as ‘Real Housewives of Rhode Island’ Secures Renewal
NBCUniversal has announced the addition of a new spinoff to the popular reality series Vanderpump Rules, set in Las Vegas at Lisa Vanderpump’s latest hotel. The reveal came during the network’s 2026 Upfronts event, where several new programming initiatives were introduced. The spinoff, titled Vanderpump Rules: Lisa Las Vegas, is described as a limited series and is one of two new shows ordered by Bravo, alongside Secrets, Lies, Texas Wives.
New Developments in the Vanderpump Universe
Vanderpump Rules is making a significant shift as the original series was notably absent from Bravo’s recent renewal announcements. The network has confirmed that the latest iteration of the Real Housewives franchise, based in Rhode Island, will return for a second season. This series is currently the second most popular across Bravo’s platforms, trailing only The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Additional Bravo Programming Updates
In related news, Summer House star Ciara Miller is set to co-host the Love Island USA companion series Aftersun, which will be available on Peacock. Other Bravo shows that have received renewals include The Valley: Persian Style, Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition, Below Deck Down Under, Married to Medicine, Southern Charm, Summer House, Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, and Top Chef. These renewals join previously announced returnees such as Below Deck and Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
The upcoming 20th season of the original Real Housewives franchise, Orange County, is scheduled to premiere on July 9. Additionally, the previously announced Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th will debut on August 9, marking a significant milestone for the network.
Summer Programming Highlights
Bravo’s summer slate will feature the premiere of Below Deck Mediterranean season 11 on June 8, followed by season three of The McBee Dynasty on June 15, and the return of Next Gen NYC on June 24. The latter series, which showcases the children of various Housewives, has also inspired a new unscripted vertical video series titled Campus Confidential: Miami, focusing on an elite group of students, including Georgia Gay, daughter of RHOSLC star Heather Gay.
Revamp of Vanderpump Rules
Vanderpump Rules underwent a significant revamp for its 12th season, introducing an entirely new cast after 11 seasons. The reboot aimed to spotlight a fresh group of employees at Vanderpump’s West Hollywood restaurant, SUR. Following the announcement that the series would return to its original format, discussions among fans suggested that the show should have transitioned to Las Vegas, where Vanderpump operates multiple restaurants and her new hotel.
Executive producer Alex Baskin acknowledged that while the idea of a Las Vegas setting had been discussed, the new cast for season 12 had established its own identity. He emphasized the iconic status of SUR and the need to utilize its unique features.
Behind the Scenes of the New Series
The logline for Vanderpump Rules: Lisa Las Vegas outlines Vanderpump’s extensive presence on the Las Vegas Strip, where she operates three popular restaurants. The series will provide a behind-the-scenes look at the opening of her new hotel, detailing the challenges and excitement involved in maintaining the Vanderpump brand. The series will culminate in a lavish opening party featuring beloved Bravolebrities.
New Show: Secrets, Lies, Texas Wives
Secrets, Lies, Texas Wives, which bears a resemblance to Hulu’s Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, will also join Bravo’s lineup. Set in the picturesque town of Boerne, Texas, the series will follow a close-knit group of glamorous women as they navigate family life, ranch management, and social engagements. However, beneath the surface of their polished lives lie complex relationships and hidden romances that challenge their loyalties and threaten the town’s pristine image.
