CAA Strengthens Nashville Presence with New 75,000-Square-Foot Office Opening July 6
CAA, a leading talent and sports agency, is set to enhance its footprint in Nashville with the opening of a new office on July 6. This facility, located at 955 Church Street, will span 75,000 square feet across two floors within Nashville Yards, a vibrant hub that also houses AEG Presents and The Pinnacle venue. Jeff Krones, CAA’s Head of Nashville Music, has been instrumental in shaping the agency’s presence in Music City for over two decades, representing a diverse roster of artists including Keith Urban, Garth Brooks, Brandi Carlile, and Willie Nelson.
New Office Designed for All Artists
The new CAA Creative Office Building aims to cater to a wide range of artists, from newcomers to established superstars. Krones emphasized that the space is designed to make every artist feel welcome. He stated that a new artist can walk in and feel a sense of belonging, while established stars can enjoy the privacy they require.
The Nashville office has been a consistent presence since 1991, with its previous location at Truist Plaza since 2011. The new office is expected to further enhance CAA’s ability to serve its clients effectively.
Facilities and Features
The new office will accommodate approximately 160 employees from various divisions, including Global Touring, Music Brand Partnerships, and Sports. It is designed not only as a workplace but also as a gathering space for artists, managers, labels, and industry partners.
The facility will feature a listening lounge for music previews, a speakeasy-style area for private conversations, and a patio for casual gatherings. Additional amenities include a social hub, a space for acoustic performances, and wellness rooms equipped with glam stations.
Krones noted that the office was not designed as a traditional venue but as a flexible space that encourages collaboration and creativity. He expressed pride in the ability to create genuine moments of discovery and connection within the Nashville community.
Strategic Location
The choice of location within Nashville Yards is strategic for CAA. Krones highlighted that proximity to live music infrastructure benefits both clients and the agency. He remarked on the significance of the location, stating that Nashville is experiencing growth that few could have anticipated. Being situated in a development that prioritizes live entertainment strengthens relationships with promoter partners and enhances outcomes for artists.
CAA’s Nashville roster includes notable names such as Jelly Roll, Tate McRae, and Maroon 5, among others. The agency’s baseball division, headquartered in Nashville and Los Angeles, represents high-profile athletes, including baseball star Shohei Ohtani and several leading football quarterbacks.
Opportunities for Collaboration
The new office is expected to foster cross-agency collaboration. Krones mentioned that the proximity of various teams will facilitate organic interactions, allowing for the sharing of ideas and building relationships. He emphasized the connection between music and sports, noting that both aspiring artists and young athletes are pursuing similar goals.
Krones added that Nashville’s rising profile is attracting brands eager to connect with the city and its artists. The new office will serve as a venue for discussions ranging from initial meetings with new artists to high-level brand partnerships, providing a comprehensive environment for all clients.
