Delano Miami Beach Reopens with Paris Society Partnership, Reinventing Iconic Hospitality Experience
Delano Miami Beach has officially reopened, marking a significant moment in the hospitality landscape of South Beach. This reopening comes after years of anticipation and is characterized by a strategic partnership with Paris Society, a global hospitality group founded by Laurent de Gourcuff and currently led by CEO Rizwan Kassim. This collaboration represents Paris Society’s inaugural venture into the American market.
The reopening signifies more than just a return to service; it embodies a comprehensive reimagining of the Delano brand.
A Partnership Built for Miami
Paris Society has established its reputation in some of the world’s most prestigious markets, including Paris, Dubai, Saint-Tropez, and Rome. The challenge of bringing this high-caliber sensibility to Miami was acknowledged by Kassim, who emphasized the importance of respecting the local culture and clientele. He stated that entering a new market requires more than reputation; it necessitates earning trust and respect.
This philosophy is reflected in the three distinct dining and drinking experiences introduced at Delano, each offering a unique atmosphere and purpose.
Gigi Rigolatto: La Dolce Vita by the Atlantic
The ground floor features Gigi Rigolatto, an Italian coastal dining concept that has already garnered acclaim in Saint-Tropez, Dubai, and Bodrum. The venue aims to capture the essence of Mediterranean life, designed by Franco-Mexican architect Hugo Toro. The space incorporates elements such as carved wood, yellow Siena marble, and travertine, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere reminiscent of a Mediterranean getaway.
The culinary offerings, guided by Corporate Executive Chef Giuseppe Pezzella, focus on seasonal Italian cuisine tailored to Miami’s palate. The menu includes handmade pastas, grilled octopus, king prawns, and Wagyu beef with salsa verde. A signature dessert, Gelato Pistacchio, has gained a cult following in Dubai and is now a staple at all Gigi locations. The Bellini Bar, a centerpiece of the beverage program, pays homage to the Italian aperitivo tradition.

Mimi Kakushi: A Cinematic World on the Fourth Floor
On the fourth floor, the experience transitions to Mimi Kakushi, a Japanese-inspired venue whose Dubai bar was ranked No. 36 on the World’s 50 Best Bars 2025 list. Opened on May 1, this exclusive space caters to Delano Members Club members and hotel guests.
The design of Mimi Kakushi draws inspiration from Oriental Art Deco, featuring wooden screens, hand-painted walls, and layered textures. The guiding philosophy of the restaurant, “A Taste of the East, The Rhythm of the West,” is evident in its menu, which includes dishes like Wagyu Beef Tataki with fresh truffle and Miso Black Cod.
The cocktail offerings are equally impressive, with the Nara Nara, a gin martini served in a block of ice at minus four degrees Fahrenheit, touted as one of the coldest martinis globally.

Rose Bar: The Icon, Reimagined
Adjacent to the lobby, the Rose Bar has been reintroduced, retaining its signature burgundy tones and velvet seating. This space pays homage to the nightlife culture of the 1980s while maintaining a contemporary feel. Signature cocktails such as the Rose Old Fashioned and the Royal Paloma, along with late-night offerings like Lobster Roll and Tuna Tartare, contribute to the bar’s allure.

What This Means for Miami
Delano has long been associated with a unique blend of culture, design, and hospitality. The reopening does not seek to recreate its storied past but rather to build upon it. The partnership with Paris Society enhances this vision, as both entities share a commitment to creating spaces that resonate with guests.
Ben Pundole, Chief Brand Officer of Delano, noted that the venue has always been a convergence point for culture, design, and social energy. With the addition of Gigi, Mimi Kakushi, Rose Bar, and the new Café Delano, this convergence has become more intentional and vibrant.
Delano Miami Beach is situated on Collins Avenue, Miami Beach. Gigi Rigolatto is open to the public, while Mimi Kakushi is exclusive to Delano Members Club members and hotel guests.
