During a keynote address at the event’s Power Session summit, H.E. Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, elaborated on how artificial intelligence and digital platforms are accelerating economic growth, creating significant opportunities for businesses across all sectors.

H.E. Lootah highlighted that the swift evolution of technology is fundamentally changing global trade dynamics, making it faster, smarter, and more efficient. He noted that digital transformation is vital in providing equal access to opportunities for startups and small businesses, as it lowers market entry barriers and enhances accessibility to customers and supply chains worldwide.
In addition, he praised the accomplishments of the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, which facilitated the establishment and growth of over 1,200 digital startups in 2024 alone, representing a remarkable year-on-year growth of 120%. This success is attributed to streamlined processes and supportive initiatives.

The significance of supportive platforms like the Business in Dubai initiative was also emphasized. This platform simplifies setup processes for new businesses, enabling entrepreneurs to launch and expand their ventures successfully.
H.E. Lootah pointed to the Dubai Founders HQ as a pivotal initiative under the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33). This innovative hub aims to nurture the region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem by facilitating collaboration and innovation among startups, investors, and various ecosystem partners.
Dubai Founders HQ: A New Era for Startups
“The Dubai Founders HQ is a first-of-its-kind initiative that combines a physical campus with a fully integrated digital platform,” stated H.E. Lootah. He explained that this initiative connects entrepreneurs with essential resources, facilitating their journey towards growth and success. The Dubai Founders HQ aims to promote the scaling of 30 unicorns and assist 400 small and medium-sized enterprises by the year 2033.
