Dubai Hosts Fireworks, Concerts, and Parades for UAE National Day Celebration
Dubai is gearing up for a vibrant celebration to mark the 54th Eid Al Etihad, also known as UAE National Day. Scheduled from December 1 to 3, 2025, this year’s festivities will reflect national pride through a diverse program that includes cultural showcases, family-friendly attractions, and special dining experiences.
Citywide Celebrations
Organized by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, the city will feature fireworks, live concerts, retail promotions, and an array of dining options. “The 54th Eid Al Etihad is a powerful reflection of the unity, pride, and progress that define our extraordinary nation,” said an official spokesperson. This statement encapsulates the essence of the celebrations as they honor the founding values of the United Arab Emirates.
Key Community Events
Under the theme ‘United’, this year’s National Day events will offer a rich tapestry of experiences that highlight both Emirati culture and modern innovation. Various localities across Dubai will host activities that promote community cohesion among the nearly 200 nationalities residing in the city.
Eid Al Etihad Parade
On December 1, the much-anticipated Eid Al Etihad Parade will take place at City Walk starting at 4 PM. Over 1,000 participants, including Dubai Police and students, will showcase a strong message of national unity and pride. Spectators can expect impressive performances from the Dubai Police Marching Band, alongside equestrian displays.
Cultural Performances and Parades
The festivities will spotlight cultural performances in more than 20 locations throughout the city. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience traditional Emirati arts, including Al Ayala and Liwa dances, storytelling, and live folk crafts. Enhanced celebrations in Hatta will feature spectacular fireworks against a serene natural backdrop on December 1.
Notable events will also take place in prominent venues. The Dubai Frame will be illuminated in the colors of the UAE flag, while Children’s City will host workshops for young guests. Military band performances and horse shows are set for Mushrif Park over the celebration weekend.

The evening of December 2 will be marked by vibrant fireworks displays set against the backdrop of iconic Dubai landmarks. Residents and visitors are invited to come together in communal spaces to enjoy colorful shows that celebrate the nation’s unity.
Dubai Festival City Mall
A centerpiece of the celebrations, Dubai Festival City Mall will host a grand fireworks display over the waterfront, culminating in a live concert featuring prominent Arab artist Balqees. Festivities will begin at 8 PM.
Hatta
Off the beaten path, Hatta will offer a tranquil experience with fireworks enhancing its scenic mountain views, starting at 8 PM.
Souk Al Seef
At Souk Al Seef, attendees can explore the heritage-inspired souk, enjoy dining experiences, and witness a spectacular fireworks show at 9 PM on December 2.
Bluewaters and The Beach, JBR
The renowned shores of Bluewaters and JBR will also feature an iconic fireworks display, along with dining options and entertainment, beginning at 9 PM.
Burj Khalifa
The world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa, is set to be a focal point for a grand fireworks display on December 2, reinforcing its status as a symbol of Dubai’s national pride.
Concerts to Enliven the City
The National Day celebrations will feature a diverse lineup of live entertainment across the city. On December 1, Lebanese singer Diana Haddad will perform at 8 PM after the parade, promising to deliver a memorable experience for attendees.
On December 2, Emirati star Balqees will headline a concert at Festival Bay, Dubai Festival City Mall, starting at 8 PM. Tickets for this highly anticipated event are available for purchase.
Fans of Khaleeji music will have the chance to see Shamma Hamdan perform on the same evening. Throughout the festivities, City Walk will embrace Emirati culture with daily performances of traditional dances, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.
Shopping and Family-Friendly Entertainment
From December 1 to 3, Dubai’s malls will host exclusive National Day offers across leading brands, making it an ideal time for shopping. Family-friendly entertainment will characterize the atmosphere, as malls transform into vibrant celebration hubs.
At Dubai Festival City Mall, shoppers spending between AED 1,000 and AED 10,000 will earn double points through the BLUE loyalty app. Guests can enjoy additional attractions, including an experiential food market featuring games and workshops.
Meanwhile, City Centre Mirdif will celebrate by showcasing local talent through fashion shows and cultural performances, while Ibn Battuta Mall will provide interactive experiences under the theme “Expressions with Art” from December 1 to 3.
