Dubai Land Department’s Participation at GITEX Global 2025
The Dubai Land Department (DLD) recently concluded its presence at GITEX Global 2025, underscoring its pivotal role in the smart transformation of real estate in Dubai. This participation emphasizes the city’s ambition to be one of the world’s most digitally advanced urban centers.
By unveiling innovative initiatives and forging global partnerships, DLD highlighted its vision to revolutionize customer experience through a fully integrated digital framework. This approach is in keeping with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and the Dubai Real Estate Strategy 2033, showcasing a commitment to cultivating a data- and AI-driven economic environment.
AI and Data Tools for Real Estate
DLD showcased an array of digital initiatives designed to redefine the landscape of real estate services. Central to this was the introduction of the Digital Sale service via the Dubai Now app, which allows customers to complete property transactions digitally using their UAE Pass. This innovation is set to enhance operational efficiency, providing investors with a more rapid and secure transaction experience.
Another notable development was the launch of the Dubai Rental Heatmap. Utilizing artificial intelligence and advanced data analytics, this tool offers real-time indicators of rental values for each housing unit across various buildings. Such transparency will empower both landlords and tenants to make well-informed decisions based on reliable data.
In addition, DLD introduced the Real Estate Transactions Platform, an interactive dashboard showcasing real-time transaction data for the emirate. This initiative aims to bolster trust and credibility within Dubai’s vibrant real estate market.
Strategic Partnerships to Enhance Services
As a component of its digital transformation strategy, DLD has collaborated with leading technology firms to further elevate its offerings. A significant partnership was established with Google Cloud, resulting in the creation of the DLD Investor AI Assistant. This AI-driven system delivers investors accurate insights and analytics, facilitating better decision-making and opening avenues for growth in the real estate sector.
Furthermore, DLD announced a collaboration with Microsoft to develop a comprehensive Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system utilizing the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform. This initiative seeks to enhance the customer experience through the integration of artificial intelligence, automation, and data analytics technologies.
DLD is also enhancing its cooperation with relevant authorities, such as Dubai Municipality, through the Digital Twin and Smart Buildings Platform projects. These initiatives are aimed at improving smart city management and increasing the efficiency of shared government services.
Cybersecurity and Financial Innovation Initiatives
A key aspect of DLD’s participation at GITEX Global 2025 was its focus on cybersecurity and financial innovation. DLD signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Dubai Police to bolster cybersecurity measures within the real estate sector, aiming to raise public awareness of cybercrime and digital fraud risks.
In collaboration with Dubai Finance, DLD is working on an initiative to streamline the payment of government service fees. This project will enable instant settlement of digital assets (cryptocurrencies) in UAE dirhams (AED) through the DubaiPay platform, managed by the Digital Dubai Authority alongside a digital asset platform licensed by the Central Bank.
Moreover, DLD has entered into a strategic partnership with Emirates NBD to facilitate the development of advanced digital solutions that enhance the tenant experience and optimize rental operations across Dubai’s real estate market.
