According to industry metrics, hotel occupancy rates peaked at 84.3% in December 2025, the highest figure recorded for the month since 2006. Concurrently, the average daily room rate (ADR) witnessed a significant rise of 11.1%, reaching AED 1,042, marking the most substantial December pricing since 2007. Revenue per available room (RevPAR) soared 15% year-over-year, underscoring the growing demand and pricing power in Dubai’s hotel market.
Increased Passenger Traffic at Dubai International Airport
The hospitality boom was mirrored in the travel sector, with Dubai International Airport welcoming 8.8 million passengers in December, setting a new record for its busiest month since the airport’s inception 65 years ago. Peak Travel Periods and Continued Demand
The holiday season, especially around New Year’s Eve, marked a peak in hotel demand. The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism reported welcoming 17.55 million international overnight visitors from January to November 2025, reflecting a 5% increase compared to the previous year.
