Kith, in collaboration with Lionel Messi and adidas Football, has launched a remarkable collection commemorating two significant milestones: the 20th anniversary of Messi’s debut on the global stage and the 15th anniversary of Kith, the New York-based lifestyle brand founded by Ronnie Fieg. This collection, which debuted over the holiday weekend, represents a culmination of two decades of influence in the world of sports and fashion.
A Collaborative Effort
The collection was meticulously crafted through a year-long partnership between Fieg and Messi. They engaged in multiple meetings to hand-select every silhouette and detail, ensuring that the Kith & Messi for adidas Football range transcends a typical licensing agreement. The collaboration reflects a genuine creative partnership, with branding from Kith, Messi, and adidas Football prominently featured. Select styles include commemorative crests celebrating the anniversaries alongside the KXVH Monogram.

On-Pitch Performance
The on-pitch range draws inspiration from defining moments in Messi’s illustrious career. It includes two jerseys featuring his original number 19, a tribute to the 2006 World Cup where he first made his mark, and two jerseys showcasing his iconic number 10. Each jersey is paired with matching shorts to complete the full kit. The performance line also features long-sleeve goalkeeper jerseys, gloves, tracksuits, nylon warm-up pullovers, socks, a ball bag, and co-branded footballs in two sizes.

The lifestyle segment of the collection merges Kith’s attention to detail with adidas Football’s design ethos. It includes a double-breasted suit, a short-sleeve crossover blazer with matching shorts, a washed denim jacket and shorts, a knit polo, wool tracksuits, and a leather duffle bag. This range is designed to transition seamlessly from the locker room to everyday life.
Footwear Highlights
Six footwear styles anchor the collection, each paying homage to different chapters of Messi’s career. The COPA Mundial 17 UltraBOOST returns with a snakeskin-embossed leather upper, harkening back to the initial Kith and adidas Football partnership in 2017. The F50 Megaride features a gradient upper and a translucent midsole with interchangeable insoles. The F50 Walkable Cleat is inspired by the first adidas cleat Messi wore during the 2006 World Cup. Additionally, two colorways of the Handball Spezial in premium suede with gum soles and a deconstructed version of the Superstar complete the footwear offerings.

Limited-Edition Trading Cards
To commemorate the launch, Kith, Messi, and adidas Football have produced two limited-edition trading cards featuring the Argentinian star alongside collection graphics. Customers purchasing any of the four jerseys or six footwear styles will receive a card as a gift. A limited number of signed versions, authenticated and graded by PSA, will be randomly included in select orders. Fewer than 100 of each signed card will be distributed through both in-store and online purchases.

The film premiered at Nu Stadium during an Inter Miami CF match on May 24, 2026, where attendees were granted early access to shop the collection via the Kith App.
Kith, Messi, and adidas Football will release the full collection globally on May 29, 2026, at all Kith stores and on Kith.com and the Kith App at 11 AM in New York, London, Paris, and Tokyo time zones.
