KS Konnect Launches Global Sports and Entertainment Platform for the Middle East

A New Era for Regional Investments

The Gulf region is rapidly transforming into a significant center for sports, entertainment, and cultural investments. In response to this evolution, a new platform called KS Konnect has been established to bridge global talent and high-value projects with the region’s burgeoning growth.

Founders Committed to Cultural Connection

KS Konnect was co-founded by media personality Kris Fade and marketing expert Sarah Omolewu. Their mission is to collaborate with governments, institutions, and brands to forge world-class partnerships in the fields of sports and entertainment across the Middle East.

Kris Fade, often referred to as “the Ryan Seacrest of the Middle East,” has played a pivotal role in shaping the UAE’s entertainment landscape. Having launched Virgin Radio in 2007 with The Kris Fade Show, he significantly contributed to making it the region’s leading radio program. His recognition transcends local borders, as he is also known internationally through the Netflix series Dubai Bling. Moreover, Fade founded Fade Fit, one of the UAE’s rapidly growing snack brands.

Fostering Global Attention in Sports and Entertainment

“The sports, entertainment, and culture sectors in the Middle East are capturing global attention like never before,” Fade remarked. “KS Konnect was designed to link the right talent, intellectual property, and narratives to this momentum, both locally and internationally.”

Sarah Omolewu has been an influential figure in the GCC’s entertainment marketing landscape since her arrival over a decade ago. Having founded Maven Marketing and Events, she has been acknowledged among the region’s most celebrated professionals. Omolewu has earned spots on respected lists, including CEO Middle East’s 50 Most Influential Women in the Arab World and the UAE’s Top 100 Most Influential People for three consecutive years.

Notable Achievements in the Entertainment Sphere

Omolewu’s contributions include orchestrating significant events such as the DMCC Kobe Bryant Health and Fitness Weekend and the GCC’s first private sector movie premiere for Suicide Squad, featuring Will Smith. Additionally, she spearheaded the initial celebrity-led tourism campaigns for Dubai Tourism and was instrumental in launching Saudi Arabia’s first celebrity speaker program at the Misk Global Forum in 2018. Beyond entertainment, her initiative, Access Abu Dhabi, was aimed at supporting women and minority-led founders entering the UAE market.

“KS Konnect continues my work in facilitating engagement for global talent, brands, and storytellers with the Middle East in a culturally informed manner,” Omolewu stated. “Governments and institutions are increasingly seeking global intellectual property and talent to drive economic and cultural growth, and KS Konnect is positioned to meet that need.”

Strategic Partnerships Already in Motion

KS Konnect has initiated several partnerships to further its objectives, one of which involves collaboration with The Sustainable City Dubai. Additionally, the platform is executing a regional campaign in partnership with prominent entities for the Middle East premiere of Pole to Pole featuring Will Smith. Furthermore, KS Konnect has allied with the International Sports and Entertainment Zone (ISEZA) in Dubai, becoming its official Talent and IP Agency Partner. This partnership aims to attract and cultivate global sports and entertainment projects aligning with Dubai’s economic and tourism strategies.

“The most significant cultural and entertainment narratives of this region are still unfolding,” Fade remarked. “KS Konnect is committed to ensuring that the right partners, talent, and innovative ideas converge to tell these stories effectively.”
