Microsoft Launches Elevate UAE to Train 300,000 in AI Skills

The Elevate UAE program is designed to reach 10,000 teachers and 150,000 students in GEMS private schools specifically, ensuring that a robust foundation in AI is established across educational institutions. Microsoft intends to leverage partnerships and advanced AI tools to create a sustainable learning environment, fostering a generation that is adept in technology.
Key Announcements During AI Tour Dubai
The announcement coincided with the Dubai edition of Microsoft’s global AI Tour, which gathered prominent figures from government, education, and industry to discuss the transformative potential of AI. This event featured keynotes, interactive developer experiences, and customer showcases that illustrated how organizations are translating AI’s possibilities into tangible benefits.
During the event, Microsoft reiterated its commitment to skilling one million people in the region by 2027, dovetailing this goal with the launch of the Elevate initiative. The program aims to prepare students, staff, and faculty in educational institutions alongside 55,000 government employees with sought-after AI skills.
