The UAE is gearing up for the largest celebration of the Indian community outside of India, set to take place at Zabeel Park in Dubai on Sunday, October 26. Organizers anticipate over 60,000 participants will gather to partake in this vibrant event showcasing the rich historical ties between the UAE and India.
A Grand Celebration of Culture and Heritage
Organized by Emirates Loves India and supported by the UAE Government Media Office, this free event aims to reflect the contributions of the Indian expat community in various sectors across the nation. The program promises an array of music, culture, and cuisine that highlights India’s rich heritage and creativity.
As part of the festivities, Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will attend as the chief guest, along with notable diplomats and business leaders. According to organizers, Dubai Police will also participate in the event, ensuring a secure and enjoyable atmosphere.
Star-Studded Lineup of Entertainers
The event is set to feature a diverse lineup of popular Indian artists, including Neha Kakkar, Mika Singh, Neeraj Madhav, and sarangi musician Nabeel Khan. “We’re all set for the largest celebration of the Indian community in the UAE. Entry gates at Zabeel Park (Gates 1 and 3) will open at 2 PM, with festivities lasting until 11 PM. Festival-goers can look forward to an unforgettable entertainment extravaganza.

The celebration will highlight India’s extensive heritage through eight cultural stalls that offer insights into various aspects of Indian traditions. Attendees can also enjoy 30 food stalls that present a diverse range of Indian cuisines, providing a flavor-packed experience.
The program features a variety of performing arts, traditional and folk performances, handicraft exhibitions, live concerts, a parade, and even a dedicated kids’ corner, ensuring a family-friendly atmosphere for everyone in attendance.
Continuing a Record-Breaking Tradition
This year’s celebration marks the second edition of the event, which was previously held under the theme “Ghar Jaisi Diwali” (Homelike Diwali). Last year’s festivities exceeded all expectations, attracting over 60,000 attendees despite an initial estimate of only 40,000. The gathering transformed Zabeel Park into a vibrant hub of Indian culture, music, art, food, and folklore, all in the shadow of the iconic Dubai Frame.
During the prior year’s celebration, a select group of esteemed Indian personalities were honored for their contributions and achievements within the UAE community, emphasizing the significance of the event.
Transportation and Accessibility
In anticipation of the large crowds, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will extend Metro operating hours, running services from 5 AM on November 16 until 2 AM on November 17. This initiative aims to facilitate smooth access for attendees, ensuring a hassle-free experience.
