Sole DXB Returns for Its 13th Edition

Sole DXB, one of Dubai’s most anticipated music, arts, and culture festivals, is set to return to the Dubai Design District (d3) from December 12 to December 14. This year marks the festival’s 13th edition, and it promises an exhilarating experience spread over three days.

The festival will feature a rich lineup of live music, engaging talks, spirited tournaments, and an array of exclusive brands. In response to popular demand, the food offerings will also see an expansion, catering to diverse tastes.

Stellar Lineup Featuring GRAMMY Winners

The 2023 edition boasts an impressive roster, including three GRAMMY Award-winning artists. On opening night, December 12, influential producer and DJ Kaytranada will take the stage, bringing a mix of electronic, hip-hop, and R&B beats. Having previously shared the stage with global superstar The Weeknd, Kaytranada’s performance is highly anticipated.

The same night will see legendary jazz DJ Gilles Peterson, the renowned Malian music collective Tinariwen, and Indian rappers Raftaar and KR$NA captivating the audience with their performances.

High-Energy Performances Continue on Saturday

On Saturday, December 13, South African pop sensation Tyla will headline the night. Her breakout single, “Water,” has garnered over a billion streams, and her set is expected to blend contemporary soul with amapiano rhythms.

Additionally, American rapper Lil Yachty, Palestinian-Jordanian pop star Zeyne, singer-songwriter Tommy WÁ, as well as Palestinian rappers Shabjdeed and Al Nather, along with English DJ Jordss, will grace the second day of the festival.

Closing Day Features Iconic Acts

Sunday, December 14, will conclude the festival with a performance by Miguel, who is set to deliver a collection of timeless modern R&B hits. Known for his charismatic stage presence, Miguel’s set will encapsulate over a decade of musical excellence.

Joining him will be English hip-hop artist Loyle Carner, celebrated for his insightful lyrics; French-Haitian soul singer Naïka; British-Gambian rapper Pa Salieu; and British jazz saxophonist Venna, each bringing their own unique sound to the closing day.

Sole DXB continues to be a significant highlight in Dubai’s cultural calendar, coinciding with the Dubai Shopping Festival. Organizers, in collaboration with local entities, are committed to delivering an extensive program that celebrates music, fashion, art, sport, and culinary delights.

A variety of exclusive brand experiences will be available at the festival, where leading fashion and foodie brands will unveil innovative products and concepts. In a notable example from 2024, FIX Dessert Chocolatier presented a rare pop-up featuring its premium chocolate bars.
