More than 4,500 athletes and spectators convened from 11 to 12 October to participate in this significant fitness event, which received extensive support from the Abu Dhabi Sports Council.
Challenging Obstacles and Distances
The event featured Spartan’s renowned race formats, including the Sprint 5K with 20 obstacles, the Super 10K with 25, and the Beast 21K comprising 30 obstacles. Many participants focused on the ultimate challenge of completing all three races, culminating in a total distance of 36 kilometers filled with rugged terrain and various obstacles.
Engaging Younger Athletes
Younger competitors were not left out, as the Spartan Kids races provided an opportunity for children aged four to fourteen. These races were designed to promote confidence, fitness, and enjoyment in a secure environment, encouraging the next generation of athletes as part of the broader community spirit.
Support from ADNOC and Other Partners
ADNOC, as the title partner of the event, reinforced its commitment to promoting health, wellness, and community involvement through sports. This collaboration is part of ADNOC’s extensive sponsorship portfolio, which also includes events such as the Al Ain Marathon and the newly launched Open Master Games.

Community Engagement Beyond the Races
In addition to the races, the festival village offered various attractions, including food trucks, live entertainment, and family-oriented activities. This ensured the weekend was not only entertaining for competitive athletes but also engaging for spectators and families, fostering a sense of community involvement and enjoyment.
Expansion of Spartan’s Operations
The Spartan Trifecta in Al Ain marks another significant milestone in Spartan’s regional initiatives, building on the momentum from the recent Spartan City Race held at Etihad Arena.
