Under the theme “United,” the UAE National Day celebrations in Dubai will encompass a rich mix of experiences spanning multiple sectors, including culture, hospitality, and family entertainment. This year’s program introduces innovative additions designed to showcase creativity rooted in tradition, reaffirming Dubai’s status as a nexus where heritage meets modernity.
Eid Al Etihad Parade
The annual Eid Al Etihad Parade, a signature feature of the UAE National Day celebrations, will take place at City Walk on December 1 at 4 PM. This collaborative event with the local police department will feature over 1,000 participants, including police officers, students from educational institutions, and other representatives from governmental bodies. Burj Khalifa
The iconic Burj Khalifa will also partake in the celebrations with its fireworks display on December 2, serving as the focal point for the city’s celebrations.
Global Village Events
Global Village will host vibrant celebrations from November 27 to December 3, featuring fireworks each evening at 9 PM. Exclusive drone shows themed around the UAE will also take place on December 1 and 2, adding a modern flair to the festivities.
Concerts to Take Over the City
The UAE National Day festivities will feature an impressive lineup of live entertainment, showcasing renowned artists and cultural performances throughout Dubai.
On December 1, after the parade, attendees can enjoy a free live concert by celebrated Lebanese singer Diana Haddad at 8 PM. The following evening, Emirati superstar Balqees will take the stage at Festival Bay in Dubai Festival City Mall. Following a fireworks display at 8 PM, Balqees will perform a collection of her greatest hits.
The celebrations will continue on December 2 with a captivating performance from Shamma Hamdan, notable for her achievements in the music industry, who will perform at 8 PM.
In addition, City Walk will highlight Emirati culture through traditional performances and music from December 1 to 3, creating a festive atmosphere throughout the event. Concurrently, the ongoing Al Wasl Season at Expo City Dubai will provide additional entertainment options, while Dubai Opera will present two nights of the popular Kuwaiti comedy, Ayal Iblees, on December 1 and 2.
