Mozell Miley-Bailey of Julien’s Auctions, which is hosting the auction on August 11, remarked on Houston’s enduring legacy. She noted that Houston’s voice transcends generations and that her contributions to music and philanthropy continue to resonate.
Also featured in the auction is a vibrant fuchsia ruffled mini dress worn by Houston at the 1988 American Music Awards, with a guide price of $700 (£500).

Whitney Houston passed away on February 11, 2012, at the age of 48 due to accidental drowning, complicated by heart disease and cocaine use. Despite her untimely death, her legacy remains strong.
