The three-year deal, valued at over $100 million, gives Wondery exclusive rights to the ad-sales, distribution, and various other aspects of their widely popular podcast, “New Heights With Jason and Travis Kelce.”
Wondery Gains Global Distribution Rights

Effective August 28, 2024, Wondery will hold global distribution rights for all audio and video episodes of “New Heights,” including the podcast’s back catalog. The deal also encompasses the creation of international audio adaptations and grants Wondery the exclusive rights to monetize and distribute these episodes across various platforms.
Continued Availability and Expanded Offerings

“New Heights” will remain available on all major podcast services, including Wondery’s distribution channels and YouTube. The deal includes provisions for ad-free listening for Wondery+ subscribers, live-streams, and the development of merchandise based on the podcast. Wave Sports + Entertainment will continue producing the show, ensuring the continuation of its high-quality content.
The Kelce brothers expressed their enthusiasm about the new chapter, saying, “We love this show, and the fanbase that has grown with us over the last two seasons. Wondery understands the shared vision and will offer a wealth of experience and resources to take us to ‘New Heights’!”
A Cultural Phenomenon
Wondery’s CEO, Jen Sargent, highlighted the podcast’s significant cultural impact, noting that “New Heights” has evolved into much more than a sports podcast. The show, which began during the NFL’s 2022-23 season, has consistently ranked among the top podcasts on both Apple Podcast and Spotify and was named Podcast of the Year at the 2024 iHeartPodcast Awards.
The podcast features the Kelce brothers discussing their NFL experiences, debating a variety of topics, and hosting celebrity guests. Their ability to connect with listeners on a personal level has made “New Heights” a cultural sensation.
Future Ventures for the Kelce Brothers
Beyond the podcast, the Kelce brothers are involved in several other media projects. Travis Kelce, who has recently garnered attention as Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, is hosting a 20-episode series of “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?” for Amazon Prime Video. Meanwhile, Jason Kelce has signed on as a commentator for ESPN’s “Monday Night Countdown” after retiring from the NFL.
Wondery’s investment in “New Heights” aligns with its extensive audio portfolio, which spans multiple genres, including true crime, comedy, business, history, and sports. This deal is expected to propel the podcast to even greater heights, reaching new audiences and creating groundbreaking moments for fans of the Kelce brothers.
