Dr. Mariam Shaikh has dedicated over 35 years to the field of education. She founded Sunflower Nursery in the early 1980s, motivated by her children’s educational needs. Her remarkable career rapidly grew, attracting a diverse student body and earning recognition from the Ministry of Education.
In the Higher Education Sector, She played important role in establishing foreign university branch campuses in the UAE, including the University of New Brunswick in Dubai Knowledge Village. Her leadership at institutions like the Canadian University of Dubai, Heriot-Watt University, and Amity University in Dubai further fueled her passion for guiding students toward success.
She established MS Education Consultants to offer specialised education services tailored to meet the evolving needs of students and educational institutions. Her aim is to provide innovative learning programs designed to equip students for the challenges of today’s world.
